Connect InterviewLM to Lever to automatically trigger assessments when candidates advance through stages. Posting scores back to your ATS is on the roadmap.
Before you start, make sure you have the following in place.
Active Lever account with Super Admin access
You need Super Admin permissions in Lever to configure webhooks and generate API tokens.
InterviewLM organization with ATS integrations enabled
ATS integrations are available on the Team plan and above. Contact [email protected] to enable it.
At least one assessment (pipeline) created in InterviewLM
The integration maps Lever interview stages to InterviewLM assessments.
Copy the unique webhook URL that InterviewLM will use to receive events from Lever.
Go to Settings in your InterviewLM dashboard.
Select Integrations from the left sidebar.
Click the Lever tile.
Copy the Webhook URL displayed on the page. It looks like https://interviewlm.com/api/webhooks/lever/{org-id}.
Keep this page open — you will paste a Lever auth token back into this form in Step 3.
Create a webhook in Lever that sends stage change events to InterviewLM.
In Lever, click your avatar in the top-right corner and go to Settings.
Select Integrations in the left panel, then click Webhooks.
Click + Add Webhook.
Paste the webhook URL you copied from InterviewLM into the URL field.
Under Events, enable the following:
Click Save. Lever will display a Signature Token for this webhook. Copy it — this is your auth token.
Paste the Lever signature token into InterviewLM so we can verify that incoming webhook events are genuine.
InterviewLM uses HMAC-SHA256 to verify every request from Lever
Return to Settings → Integrations → Lever in InterviewLM.
Paste the signature token from Lever into the Webhook Auth Token field.
Click Save. The integration status will change to Active.
Once connected, the integration automates the full assessment workflow.
When a candidate moves to a Lever stage mapped to InterviewLM, an assessment invitation is automatically created and emailed to the candidate. No manual copy-paste required.
On the roadmap: when a candidate completes their assessment, InterviewLM will post the scorecard and evaluation summary as a note on the Lever candidate profile. Today, scores and full evaluations live in the InterviewLM dashboard.
In InterviewLM Settings → Integrations → Lever, map specific Lever interview stages to specific InterviewLM assessments. Different roles can use different assessment templates.
